everything looked good, except for a few things. the air conditioning in the car was not working, but that was bearable, the temperatures were not high. the shock came when they charged me an offroad fee (300€), even though I was driving on a properly marked road in google maps…. their argument was that when I saw that the asphalt road ended, I should have turned around and used another route to the destination, but anyone who knows Albanian well knows that the main part can suddenly change to a gravel road and a bit further on the asphalt continues (for example, it happened to me on the Saranda-Vlora road SH8, according to them I should have turned around too)….. be careful!!!!!! Air Conditioning
We understand your concern about the air conditioning. However, this issue was not reported to us during your rental period. Had you contacted us at the time, we would have been happy to assist you immediately.
It is also possible that the correct A/C function was not activated, which is a common misunderstanding and can give the impression that the system is not working.
Off-road Driving
Driving off-road is a clear violation of the rental agreement. According to our records, you traveled from Berat to Gramsh through Mount Tomorr using very poor road conditions, while on your return you used the proper asphalt road. This indicates that it was a choice rather than a navigation error.
Google Maps does not typically suggest off-road routes as primary roads. If a mistake occurs, it is important not to continue on unsafe terrain.
Driving in such areas is dangerous and can result in serious damage to the vehicle, including tires, suspension, or the undercarriage. Additionally, roadside assistance in remote areas may take up to 24 hours.
Regarding the Saranda–Vlora (SH8) Road
This route was not mentioned in our previous communication. The SH8 road between Saranda and Vlora is a fully asphalted road and does not involve any off-road driving. Therefore, we are unclear why it has been referenced in your review, as it is misleading for others.
Why the Fee Applies
The applied fee (ranging from €150–€300) is due to the risks and damages associated with off-road driving. In your case, tire damage occurred.
Please note that insurance does not cover damage resulting from off-road use with a non-off-road vehicle.
This fee helps cover potential damage and excessive wear caused under these conditions.
Final Note
All destinations in Albania are accessible via proper asphalt roads. Choosing to drive off-road with an unsuitable vehicle is the driver’s responsibility, as outlined in the agreement you signed.

It's okay, we violated the agreed rules and entered an unpaved road, and in Albania such a road is treated as a road, so we had to say goodbye to the deposit we left, but this is our own ignorance and I would really like everyone to check which way their navigation leads.
The only thing I didn't like was that you get the car with an empty tank and have to return it empty, I think it's better to fill it from full to full

Regarding the roads in Albania: all main roads leading to tourist attractions are in very good condition. However, there are a few routes that Google Maps can misleadingly show as “main roads.” One such example is the road from Osumi Canyon to Përmet, which is strictly heavy off-road and requires a proper off-road vehicle. Driving these roads with a standard car can be dangerous for you and your loved ones.
There are always alternative main roads in excellent condition to reach any destination in Albania. We strongly recommend double-checking with us if you are unsure about a specific route. As in your case, we are always happy to warn our customers about roads that may appear normal on Google Maps but are not suitable for regular vehicles.
Due to the rough terrain on such roads, damage to tires or the underside of the car may occur, which is why the deposit was used to cover potential damages and increased wear.
As for fuel, we always expect the car to be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. For everyone’s convenience, there are two large fuel stations located just outside the airport. We never require customers to return the car with more fuel than they received.

Great service and very friendly staff. Adrian explained everything clearly and it was easy to find them both on arrival and departure at the airport. Albania is best explored by car — beyond the beaches, I highly recommend visiting places like Theth (Blue Eye), Kruje, Apollonia, natural parks, museums, mosques, and the Butrint archaeological site. The SUV was in perfect condition and I would definitely rent from them again. 5/5

All very smooth - prior and after. Very responsive to messages before the booking. Waited for us at the airport to give us the vehicle. And since we decided to drop off the vehicle in Tirana centre, they offered to drive us to our Airbnb with their personal car free of charge! Vehicle in excellent condition. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend 100% and would reuse without looking for anything else next time we visit Albania.

The car looked a little worn, but it was clean inside and out and worked flawlessly, and the owner was helpful and nice.

The car was delivered on time, but from the start there were several problems:
- the check engine light was on immediately at pick-up,
- the rear parking sensors did not work at all, and the front sensors gave frequent false alarms,
- the renter was not aware of my full insurance – nothing was mentioned in the contract, and only after I contacted him did he confirm it, though I am still not convinced my booking actually included full insurance,
- the adaptive headlights malfunctioned and other drivers were flashing at me at night,
- the windshield wipers were in very poor condition (during heavy rain they barely cleared the water),
-the tires were in bad condition.
On the positive side, the car itself was small, agile, powerful, and the diesel engine handled mountain roads well.

We were very disappointed to read your review, as it contains several inaccuracies and misrepresents the service you received.
You were provided with a premium delivery service in Tirana (pickup at your selected location), free of charge, to make the rental process more convenient for you. You rented a 2016 Volkswagen Golf 7 (full option) at a highly competitive rate, which included full insurance and unlimited kilometers. This is clearly outlined on our website and confirmed in the rental agreement under section six.
During your rental, damages were unfortunately caused to the interior of the vehicle, for which you were asked to take responsibility. Refusing to do so does not make these damages any less valid. Additionally, despite being advised to refuel at specific stations to ensure the smooth running of your rental, cheaper fuel was used instead, which triggered the check-engine light. While this did not affect the car’s performance, it could have been avoided by following the given guidance.
Most importantly, when you first raised concerns about the vehicle, we immediately offered to replace it with another car to ensure your satisfaction. You declined this offer, stating that it was not necessary. For this reason, it is surprising to see the vehicle’s condition now being presented as a major issue in your review.
As for the condition of the tires and wipers, these were inspected and confirmed to be in good working order before your rental. While no vehicle is completely free from minor imperfections, these do not diminish the overall quality of service provided, especially when weighed against the value for the price paid.
We take pride in offering transparent policies and fair treatment to all our customers. We also welcome genuine feedback to help us improve. However, reviews that misrepresent the facts do not reflect the true experience we strive to deliver.

Super good car, just note that the deposit is not valid in advance, you have to give it on site. We also had a car change, but it was an equivalent model. Otherwise, the car was in perfect condition and we were very satisfied. I just regret washing the car because I lost €10 – they actually take care of it themselves. Also, be prepared with cash when returning it, as they gave us the refund in lek. We were just a bit disappointed by that since we couldn’t manage to change it back.

It seems there may have been a small misunderstanding regarding the deposit. The no-show guarantee is managed by the website: it is paid to them and automatically refunded once you pick up the car. The security deposit, on the other hand, is paid directly to us and refunded by us at the end of the rental. Both are fully refundable and clearly explained both before making the reservation and again in the confirmation sent by the website, so there should be no unexpected charges.
As the car was not returned in a clean condition, a €10 cleaning fee was applied in accordance with our policy.
Please also note that all deposits are refunded in the same currency in which they were originally paid. If your payment was made in Lek, the refund was also processed in Lek.

It was a great decision to rent a car with them.
From the very first moment we made the reservation, they replied instantly, about a month before the trip. Communication was always excellent.
When we landed at our destination, they were already waiting for us with the car. We had booked a Nissan Juke, but since it was out of stock, they gave us a better car, a Tiguan, which worked perfectly. Even though the cars are several years old, they run very well and are truly reliable.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. The price is amazing and cannot be compared with others. It’s a great value for the quality of the vehicle they provide.
On our return, we decided to arrive a few hours earlier to return the car, and we coordinated it without any problem. They even offered to take us anywhere we needed for free after returning the car.
It’s an incredible service. We totally recommend them and, if we return to Albania, we will definitely rent with them again. Many thanks for the attention and the great attitude.

Everything went well. The car was delivered to the hotel and I returned it at the airport. The car is fine. I advise you to check the petrol level before renting a car, I had little. Also, when I returned, they charged me 10 euros for washing the car.

As part of our fuel policy, we kindly ask that vehicles are returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. This may vary depending on how the previous client returned the car. For your convenience, there are several fuel stations located just 500 meters from the airport, making it very easy to fuel before starting your journey in Albania.
Regarding the car wash, we apply a small fee of €10 only if the vehicle is returned in a dirty condition. If the car is brought back in the same clean state as at pick-up, no fee is charged. Since all our cars are delivered clean, this ensures that every client receives their vehicle in the same fresh and well-maintained condition.
