I had a flat tire during the rental, and they helped me immediately with so much understanding and humanity. You can truly feel that they care about their customers, and that makes all the difference.

Die Abholung und Abgabe war Reibungslos. Lediglich das Auto war mit fast 200000 Km auf der Uhr und zahlreichen Schäden nicht das, was ich erwartet habe. Immerhin hat es ohne Probleme unsere 950 Km durchgehalten.

Avoid this guy Gentiand1 (aldrive company). The car was in poor condition, they were calling like crazy every day threatening to take the car back and explaining what speed you should drive, although in Albania everyone drives at a higher speed. I have traveled all over the world and rented cars many times, but I have never seen such nonsense. Next time I will rent from another company, avoid this pathetic gypsies.
We respectfully disagree with your description of the situation. During your rental, our system detected repeated driving behavior significantly above the speed limit. You were detected driving the vehicle at 140 km/h in residential areas near schools. For safety and legal reasons, during the entire rental period you were only called twice by the company to which you refused to answer, for this reason we have informed you via SMS that you are breaking the company's rules as well as road traffic. It is absolutely not true that in Albania everyone drives at a higher speed. You were also fined by the State Police for "The driver of the vehicle committed an incorrect overtaking", which you did not pay even though we communicated it to you.
Regarding your concerns regarding communication: our team may contact customers during a rental only when necessary, especially in cases related to vehicle safety, legal compliance or misuse of the car. This is to protect both the customer and the vehicle.
We pride ourselves on maintaining our vehicles and providing a professional service, and we regret that you chose to interpret necessary safety communication in a negative way. We also want to emphasize that we do not tolerate offensive or discriminatory language. Your comment includes inappropriate wording, which does not align with respectful communication.
We got another car than the one we rented, but it was also and older model, which was important for us.
The Balkan roads are hard on a car and we did not wish to drive in a new vehicle feeling worried all the time.
Unfortunately there was a problem with a tyre and we ended up having to change the wheel, but Gentiand was very supportive and we had no problem getting the money back for it.
Also we didn't have to spend time getting it cleaned before returning it to compensate for the time we had spent with the wheel.
So an overall very good experience with Gentiand

Everything has been absolutely fantastic. They are very kind and attentive, and any questions or issues have been answered quickly and efficiently. It's also very affordable, which is much appreciated. I recommend them 100%. It's the best option I could have chosen for having a car for a few days in Albania!
