My overall experience with this car hire service was excellent, and I highly recommend them — but not for the reason you might expect.
Unfortunately, the first car I hired broke down. There was absolutely no malice or negligence involved, and what happened next should be a lesson to car hire companies worldwide.
Within 40 minutes, a mechanic arrived to service the car. When it became clear shortly after that the issue persisted, I returned the vehicle and was assured I would receive a replacement. When no immediate replacement was available, the owner personally drove back from his family holiday to meet me, apologized in person, showed me the car’s service record (confirming it had been in perfect working order before my rental), and upgraded me to a premium Audi at no extra cost.
Later, when I unexpectedly received a traffic ticket, the owner even covered it for me.
Of course, your experience may be different — breakdowns happen, and often they’re nobody’s fault — but what matters is how a company responds when things don’t go as planned. In this case, their service went far beyond anything I’ve experienced, even compared to large international rental companies.
It’s clear this business is run with genuine care for its customers. Even when the unexpected happens, you can count on them to take care of you. I cannot emphasize enough how satisfied I am with their service. Highly recommended.
