The rental went good, the car is old of course but give you real Balkan experience and vibe.
I had one little issue but it was solved quickly, the owner is very reactive and helpful.

Communication was smooth, but unfortunatelly car was not passed to us in perfect condition, this affects the experience - AC not functional, right window not possible to put down, missing windshield cleaning liquide, pop up error for oil preassure in engine.. This should not happen on this business and need to be checked before renting the car.

Communication was excellent and the car was clean, though not in the best condition. However, when the car broke down, he was extremely helpful and took care of everything promptly.

Got a different car from the one we ordered but the car worked. The car was fine and the pick up and drop off was very relaxed.

The car kept breaking down, we lost time and nerves, because of this car we did not visit many places. If I had known that the car was in such a bad condition, I would have rented another one, the owner assured me that everything was fine. The car was taken by a tow truck, and the owner behaved ok and gave us his. This car should be withdrawn from the rental company.
Le chauffeur nous attendait à l’aéroport mais pas avec la bonne voiture qui etait en panne. Pas grave, nous en récupérerons une autre (surclassé) mais qu’il a fallu rendre au bout de 4 jours, se retrouver sur la route, bref un peu galère. Puis nous voilà avec une mini country de 300000kms! Pas toute jeune et moins confortable que la C3 initialement prévue. Ensuite nous avons eu des problèmes de pression de pneus, il a fallu aller chez le garagiste et enfin pour finir la voiture tombé en panne ( embrayage mort) sur la route de l’aéroport. Gros stress, peur de rater l’avion, nous prenons le premier taxi qui passe et pour le moment j’attends toujours le remboursement du taxi de la part du loueur…
Même s’il répondait présent, à chaque message, cela fait beaucoup de galère en 15 jours. Donc je ne recommanderais pas ce loueur

Unfortunately, this rental was a very disappointing experience. The car did not match the description at all. The owner claimed it was in excellent condition, but in reality:
• The gearbox was faulty and very difficult to use,
• The windshield wipers didn’t work properly and there was no washer fluid,
• The overall condition of the car was poor,
• The car struggled to drive uphill, and the engine made alarming noises as if it was about to stop,
• Acceleration was extremely weak, making the drive frustrating and at times unsafe.
I would strongly advise against renting this vehicle in its current condition.
Hello, thanks for your opinion but this is not correct, I offered to help you 5 times to fill the windshield washer tank, and you asked me to drive 4 hours to you just to pour water on the windshield, which is not normal at all! Regarding the gear shift, specify that the plastic came out of place and the plastic is problem not gearbox, which was not there at first when you got the car from our company, anyway I apologize again, and why did I offer to serve you wherever you were, I would be there for you, but you refused, and pressured me with "We will do a bad review", I apologize but I am here to offer you cars and free roadside assistance 24/7. (Don't forget that i paid 30€ ticket for you because you don't answer the phone anymore) thank you best regards

Il nous attendait à l'heure à l'aéroport nous a restitué le véhicule un autre que celui qu'on avait réservé nous avons eu un problème de batterie qui a été résolu dans l'heure très réactif de ce côté-là.
Quelques points négatifs qui pourrait être amélioré pour être tranquille quand on voyage dans un pays qu'on ne connaît pas!!!
Location pour une durée de 20 jours.
- voyant moteur allumé.
- bruit au niveau du train avant ce qui m'a beaucoup inquiété le long du voyage.
- aucun allume-cigare qui fonctionne dans le véhicule ce qui est embêtant.
Étant donné la réactivité de Besi quand on est tombé en panne de batterie et que je sais pas si on aurait eu mieux ailleurs je peux vous le recommander.

I was a bit anxious, because the car was old, but everything went well, it was in great condition.The service and communication with Besa was also OK. I have no regrets for going with rentfromlocals. Much cheaper too, than the "normal" rent-a-car providers.

Besi is a very customer oriented owner, we had issues with the first car we rented but he managed to change it for us even thou we were already 3 hrs away. He delivered and replaced the car making our trip memorable.
