Everything was good, recommend!
Everything was okay with the car, is was easy to find the pick up and drop off point. There was smooth communication.
I would like to warn everyone about the provider rapoh. Unfortunately, Rapoh invented fictitious damage to the car and refused to return the deposit, which he was supposed to use for scratches on the car. However, the car was scratched on all sides when it was handed over and we did not cause any new scratches. If you are interested in the details, I am available. David

Thank you for your comment. Below, I will clarify the situation from my side.
You booked a 2007 automatic Toyota. At the time of pick-up, you made the payment and a €150 deposit.
When you tried to leave the parking lot, you told me the car wasn’t moving. In order for the car to move, it needs to be started. I gave you a brief guide in the parking lot, and afterward, you continued your trip.
Two days later, specifically on a Sunday (a day off), you called and informed me that the car was releasing black smoke. You were about 130 km from Tirana, at the Berat Castle. I immediately left for Berat with another car to replace yours and two mechanics.
When I arrived in Berat, I found that the car had no mechanical issues, but it wouldn’t start because you hadn’t put any fuel in it. You had started the car without refueling and caused damage. The cost of traveling to Berat was €20 in fuel, plus the wages of three employees on a Sunday, who are paid 150%. The total cost was €200, but I took full responsibility and only charged you €20. I then gave you a 2015 Hyundai, which has a higher rental price than the Toyota. (I let it to you with the same price as Toyota)
At the time of drop-off, we reviewed the car on video and saw that it had a scratch on the door, which needed painting and would cost €70, and the entire fender had light scratches. From our conversations, I told you the total damage would cost around €200, but I offered to just polish the car (which costs €100) and not charge you the full amount.
Instead of appreciating this, you refused and started pressuring me, saying you would leave a negative review unless I refunded your deposit. The deposit is meant to cover costs such as fines, missing fuel, or damages to the car. You caused damage valued at €400-450 and I only invoiced you €120 so that you would feel comfortable.
Meanwhile, I asked for your ID card to refund €30. If the platform allowed screenshots, I would have attached the actual condition of the car.
Please note that our cars are repainted at the start of each season, and it’s not true that the car was covered in scratches.

My overall feedback is mostly positive. Henri was available, flexible and friendly. He speaks proper English and we could communicate with him the whole time if we had a problem.
We had a small misunderstanding regarding the deposit and some scratches, but we could sort it out, so parted ways with mostly positive feelings.
Overall, I think the service is fair for the price, I can recommend.

Very grateful to have found this renter.the comunication with him went smoothly and fast, on whatsup. We had a Golf5 from him. The car was good, we didnt have any problems with it.
He was really nice, since I had troubles with my incoming flight,I lost a day from the car reservation time. He was nice to just postpone the pickin up car day and allowed us to return it one day later that the initial period, all without any extra cost. We could easily change thedrop of location in our last day of renting.

The car rented from Henri was good for our needs in Albania, pick up and drop off from the airport was very smooth and Henri sended all neccesary details few days before arrival. I rented a car through from Henri many month before the trip to Albania, as we travelled in high season (August 2024). The car was a VW Golf TDI from 2007 with automotic gear and air condition. The price was good so we rented it.
Henri was very helpfull, specially when we missed our connection flight and instead of arriving at 3PM we arrived at 2AM, with the next flight. He waited for us at 2 o`clock in the morning gave us a car, we made the payment in cash as requested, registered the damages (it had some scratches) and gave us some tips about driving in Albania. He also offered assistance 24h, "You have no friends here in Albania, so when you need something or are in trouble, call me".
The car was good, it had some 350.000km already, but with a powerful and low consuming motor (4l/100km), some radio buttons were missing though.
After 18 days and 1.500km the return of the car was easy and smooth in the same place where we picked it up.
It was a good experience and I only can recommend this service.

Il giorno prima dell’arrivo ci ha contattato per comunicare che la macchina che avevamo scelto aveva un guasto meccanico…leggendo poi le recensioni ho visto che era già successo ad altri clienti con la solita auto, che evidentemente continua a tenere nel parco noleggio ma non più disponibile…scorretto!ci ha consegnato una Honda jazz in non buone condizioni…diversi problemi durante il viaggio con necessità di fermarci dal meccanico!il Wi-Fi promesso non è mai stato funzionante….tanti intoppi spiacevoli!il proprietario ha sempre risposto e sempre presente…abbiamo lasciato l’auto direttamente al parcheggio dell’areoporto al ritorno su nostra richiesta, è stato gentile.

Hope this comment is finding you great.The program ‘rent from locals’ allows us to find another car similar with the one you have chosen in the very beginning. We have let you known 3 days before the car will be replaced once the chosen one had a defect and we put you safety and you life over everything .You had plenty of options,we offered you 4 similar cars and you agreed. You chose a car in very great condition and then I just had a call that ‘down silenciator’ of the car was broken, I offered you the nearest service car for free and after that the service guy concluded that this part was broken just because you drove on the off road that it’s not permitted. All the damages were paid by us even though it was your fault. And the last thing I want to mention,just because of you health issues we allowed you to park the car at the depart zone which is totally out of the rules,but we did it as an exception to make it easier for you.

Everything ok. Instead of a Golf which had to be repaired, the owner offered a car of a class for the same price. Car efficient, comfortable and economical. Very good contact. I personally recommend this rental
Extrêmement déçue de la location de la voiture GOLF V + : la voiture a 240 000km, n'avance pas au delà de 30km/h dans les côtes, l'écran central pour la radio ne s'allume pas, le rétroviseur intérieur n'est pas réglable, la clé est dysfonctionnelle, elle fait des bruits inquiétants... Bref, une horreur. Cette voiture ne devrait pas être louable, surtout au prix que nous l'avons payé !

I appriciate your comment but I want to say that maybe it was your first time driving a gas car and that’s why it was unexpected.
You can’t drive to Llogara Mountains (as it is one of the highest mountain in Albania and with plenty of turns).The car that you used was 1.4 petrol/gas and it’s not a race car, it can only be used for family purposes . I have also another review about the damage you caused to the car,like you scratched it and broke the WiFi provider. And we didnt charge you.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed Albania. And for sure your comment will help us to grow up.

It was ok with everything. The ordered car was broken so we were given another, better from Henri's friend.
Pricing was best, and car was everything we needed.
Everything was great, Ropah / Henri , was even able to exchange some $ for us. We came by bus and had not gotten time to exchange $. This was a super help!

Overall a positive impression but there were some surprises. The car that was booked was not available due to a fault. They suggested another car that did not quite suit me due to its condition and size. In the end I received a car that met my expectations. A big thank you for the customer service and help. It is worth agreeing on all the details about the car before arrival so as not to be surprised. I recommend it due to the attractive prices and friendly service.
