The whole rental process was smooth and Henri treated us very well. Would definitely rent from him again.

Everything went quickly and without complications.

A few days before the booking date, the car was cancelled due to a technical issue. I contacted Rent From Locals, and they responded very quickly and provided an immediate solution.

I really appreciated their fast support.

Car bick-up and drop- off went smooth, however some points worth mention: the car A/C was not working, it was mentioned that the car hav wifi but it wasn't.

During booking it was mentioned that there is no deposit but I was charged 50€, and the confirmation email I received mentioned that the amount will be refunded after I bick-up the car. And its been a week since I dropped off the car and still I didn't get any thing back.

Nous avons loué une Ford Focus pour une durée de 10 jours. Le prix était raisonnable et le dépôt de garantie de 50 € était très correct, surtout en comparaison avec les montants souvent exigés par les agences classiques.

En revanche, l’état du véhicule laissait à désirer. La voiture était usée et pas parfaitement propre (mouchoirs laissés dans le vide-poche), plusieurs équipements ne fonctionnaient pas : l’allume-cigare central pour brancher le téléphone, l’éclairage intérieur, ainsi que la banquette de fond du coffre complètement décollée...

Au-delà de ces désagréments matériels, nous avons rencontré des problèmes plus gênants :

- Kit de roue de secours incomplet : lors d’une crevaison, nous avons constaté qu’il manquait la clé de roue, ce qui nous a fait perdre plus d’une heure à en trouver une, alors que le changement aurait dû prendre 10 minutes.

- Éclairage insuffisant : les feux de route éclairaient très peu et les pleins phares étaient presque inexistants, ce qui rendait la conduite de nuit dangereuse.

En revanche, la prise en charge a été fluide. Rapoh a fait preuve de souplesse en livrant la voiture à Tirana plus tôt que prévu. Le retour s’est également déroulé sans problème, sur un parking proche de l’aéroport où Rapoh n’était pas présent (vous laissez les clés au gardien du parking). À noter toutefois que ce parking ne se situe pas directement au terminal, ce qui peut poser souci si vous êtes chargés.

We rented this trusty Golf 5 during our Albanian adventure and it didn’t let us down once — a real road trip warrior! The car ran smoothly through cities, mountains, and beaches like it was born for Balkan roads.

Only one tiny thing — the AC had a bit of a "Mediterranean siesta" moment during the 40-degree heatwave. It did its best, but sometimes it felt like we were getting gently fanned by a sleepy kitten. That said, the owner was super nice and promised to check it out, so future renters might get the upgraded "Arctic breeze" version!

Overall, great experience, solid car, and a kind and helpful owner. Would definitely rent again — but maybe next time in spring! ☀️

The Car I Booked broke down a day before my departure I was informed beforehand hand and an alternative was made available on my arrival . At first I was a bit skeptic But Rapoh , Remained Calm and Professional, he was willing to help in every way possible if wasn’t satisfied with the replacement. I eventually took the car and it was intact , I never had problems driving around with my family. I had small accident , reported the case to the police , and I spoke to Rapoh on the Phone and his words… ,’ don’t stress about anything, as long as the car still drives , enjoy your Holiday with your family, what ever small costs involved I will cover them”. It was really humbling to understand that for Rapoh it’s not only about money and his assets.. he also cares about the welfare of his Clients and that is Golden!!! Thank you Sir !!
