I've never heard of Rent from locals, but good reviews of the service and of Amarildol1 let me trust.

And it was a great experience!

I had a big 4x4 car, and I crossed Albania and Kosovo without any kind of problem.

The experience was fantastic. The car itself was in great condition—clean, well-maintained, and ready to go when I arrived. But what really stood out was the little extra touch that made the trip even more enjoyable: the car came with a collection of CDs that had some truly amazing music! It felt like I had my own personal soundtrack for the trip, and it definitely made the drive more fun and memorable.

The staff was also friendly and helpful, making the pickup and drop-off process smooth and hassle-free. The pricing was fair, and there were no hidden fees, which I really appreciated.

If you're looking for a reliable car rental with a little added charm, I highly recommend.

Everything went smooth and he even had several child seats to choose from. Although the car broke down, probably because of bad diesel, Amarildo quickly organized a change of cars and even reimbursed us for the difference in car price and diesel left in the tank. I would definitely rent a car from him again!
