We had a very good experience overall with this car rental. The car was practically new and in perfect condition. The contract was prepared thoroughly and efficiently, and the process was quick and clear. Communication through WhatsApp went smoothly, and we appreciated the quick responses, even to our late messages.
One suggestion: it would be better to keep communication with just one contact person. In the last couple of days, we received messages from several different numbers, and we weren’t sure who we were actually speaking with.
Also, we were told about a supposed police fine, but after checking, we found the fine was dated back to September while our rental was in October — so just be aware and double-check such notifications.

I chose this rental Company or Group of companies (since it seems that there are many companies together) obviously for the prices, as they are more competitive than the larger ones. In my case, I chose a car from the company RENTINA (one of those listed in the Group) because it offered comprehensive insurance, although I have doubts since for a small scratch that we noticed the next day, when calling they were initially not willing to take responsibility. Fortunately, it appeared in the initial photo when picking up the car. On the other hand, I want to point out that the concept of asking us to return the car washed at the end of the rental, or otherwise pay 10 euros, seems like poor customer service to me, unless there is a special reason that justifies it. Evidently, if the car gets dirty with normal use, cleaning it for a new customer should be the company's responsibility.
Can you imagine going to a hotel, paying for the room, and then being asked for an extra amount for cleaning the room for the next guest when you check out? Well, no.
And I’ll overlook the fact that we had booked a car with a screen and the one we were given didn’t have it; when we went back to the rental company to mention it, they told us that the car we had reserved was in the workshop and they had given us this one instead. They could have told us that from the beginning. And in these cases, with other companies we have rented from, they have always given us a better car.

We're glad to hear you were happy with the rental price and that the car functioned perfectly throughout the rental period, especially as it was a new vehicle — with the only difference being the absence of a screen, which did not affect the driving experience in any way.
It's our responsibility to check the condition of the vehicle both at pick-up and drop-off, to ensure that any damages are properly recorded in our system and that no extra costs fall unfairly on future customers. In your case, since you were fully covered by insurance, there was no reason for concern.
Regarding the cleaning policy, the car was delivered to you washed, and as clearly explained at the beginning of the agreement, it should be returned in the same condition. If that’s not possible, we offer an in-house cleaning service for a fee of €10. We're sorry if this caused any inconvenience, but it was an optional service that could have been avoided.
We would also like to point out that the comparison with a hotel is not entirely appropriate, as these are two very different types of businesses. In our case, operating costs are structured differently, and our rental rates were already very competitive — among the lowest in the market — so it's not feasible to include additional services without impacting overall pricing.
Nevertheless, we’re happy that your final evaluation at drop-off was very positive and that you were satisfied overall.

It was a great experience with Rentia.
I made a reservation with delivery of the vehicle in Tirana and return at the airport without incident.
Rentia delivered a new vehicle to me without any pressure to take out comprehensive insurance and without an initial deposit.
Just to let you know that Rentia requires that the car be washed in Albania upon delivery. If you don't do this, they charge €10 at the time of delivery.

La route a été parfaite. Pas d’accident ni d’accrochage. Le personnel est courtois. Par contre, la voiture avait quelques petit default sur l’embrayage et l’air climatisé.

I had a great experience! The car (Dacia Stepway) was pretty new and worked great throughout our stay. We took the full insurance and paid upfront without any deposit. We crossed the border to North Macedonia, and apart from the company's fee we had to pay 15€ at the border for extra insurance (the staff did warn us about this charge, so no complaints here). We also had to pay the 10€ fee for washing the car, which in my opinion should just be included in the price, but the staff was also very clear about this charge when we picked the car up, so again no complaints here.

They'll pick you up at the airport exit with the car you're renting and take you to the office. The process is quick, the car worked well and was clean. They have a disabled navigator so you have to pay the extra fee. When we returned it, the guys were quite rude and tried to scam us by denting the bumper, which was already there. We took photos of the car and all its defects before leaving to avoid these types of scams. Be careful.

Run away from this company. First, it’s not a « local », it’s a company. The price announced was doubled at our arrival because we didn’t have a debit card (or I asked and they told me there was no deposit or credit card needed!).
We didn’t have the car we booked, and at the end you also have to wash the car yourself (wtf) or they charge you an extra 10€!!
We went from 149€ to 350€.

Price and Payment
We are sorry for the confusion regarding the payment. As you noted, we offered you payment options with a debit card and cash. Any additional cost is directly related to the extra services you chose, such as full insurance. This is an optional service offered for full damage coverage, as driving in Albania can be challenging.
Vehicle
Regarding the vehicle change, we did so to provide you with a newer, automatic car at no extra cost. We thought this would be an advantage for you, but perhaps we should have communicated this change more clearly. It's a fundamental requirement that our vehicles are registered with the authorities, to whom we also pay taxes. This process ensures all vehicles are subject to thorough inspections, which is also a plus for you, as it guarantees the cars are safe.
Car Wash
The car wash policy is clearly explained on our platform and when you pick up the car. The car is given to you clean and should be returned clean. The €10 fee is what you would pay at a car wash, and it is applied only if you choose not to wash the car yourself.
We are very sorry for your experience and will work to improve our communication with our customers in the future. For any questions or concerns, we are always available to help.
The experience was disappointing because the cars were in poor condition: the first one broke down, wouldn't even start, and we had to wait a few hours for a replacement, missing excursions and losing money.
The second vehicle also had faults (oil sensor, hard gears, loose door), which made us feel unsafe throughout the trip.
In our case, we missed one or two bars of gas and do not clean the car thoroughly before returning it, so they apply extra charges.

We would like to clarify that the first car had no technical issues at the time of delivery. After you reported the battery issue, we promptly replaced the vehicle. According to the service inspection, a component was left in manual mode, which drained the battery overnight. The car is currently operating normally with the same battery.
Regarding the second vehicle, we did not receive any similar complaints, including from you at the time of return. Please rest assured that all our vehicles undergo regular checks by certified specialists to ensure your safety.
The extra charges applied were in line with our rental terms, due to missing fuel and cleaning requirements.

Someone from the agency picked us up near the airport. They were on time, and we walked a few minutes to the location given in a message (WhatsApp).
The staff were welcoming and communicated well, and were very responsive.
During our stay, one of the car's tires had to be repaired (flat tire). We contacted the agency by phone and they clearly explained what to do. We paid €5 at a local garage. This €5 was deducted from the €10 charge for not washing the car when we returned it.
The only minor issue was that we had booked an Opel and were given a Dacia Stepway, which was also very pleasant to drive.

J’ai choisi cette agence pour deux raisons principales :
-La possibilité annoncée d’utiliser une carte de débit (et non de crédit).
- Le choix de son véhicule et donc pour moi un véhicule de plus de 2021.
À mon arrivée :
- On m’a indiqué que ma carte de débit n’était finalement pas acceptée, sauf si je payais 100 € supplémentaires d’assurance (pour une location de 220 €, c’est presque la moitié du prix !). Le minimum aurait été de l’annoncer clairement sur leur site ou dans les conditions générales, car après les avoir relues, rien n’indique cette restriction.
- La voiture réservée (une Dacia Stepway de au moins 2022) n’était pas disponible. On nous a attribué une BMW… déjà allumée avant notre départ. Ce détail est important, car nous n’avons pas vu immédiatement les nombreux warnings qui ne sont apparu qu’au redémarrage suivant.
Problèmes rencontrés avec ce véhicule :
-Très vieux modèle ( au max 2013, plus de 260 000 km).
- Défauts visibles : boîte à gants cassée, aérations abîmées; carrosserie cassée .
- Défauts mécaniques et de sécurité : bruits au freinage et au volant, boîte automatique qui réagit mal, multiples voyants d’alerte (clignotants défectueux, phare arrière droit HS, liquide lave-glace manquant, etc.).
Au retour :
-Tentative de nous facturer un dommage déjà présent (heureusement prouvé par nos photos).
- Facturation de 10 € de lavage alors que la voiture avait été nettoyée le jour même (il pleuvait fortement sur le trajet donc trace de boue derrière les pneus).
Au final, ils se sont excusés en promettant « une super voiture la prochaine fois ».
Sachez que pour nous, il n’y aura pas de prochaine fois.

Si nous avions été informés à temps, nous aurions bien sûr réagi immédiatement en vous proposant un véhicule de remplacement.
Concernant le contrôle au retour du véhicule, nous vous assurons qu’il n’y a jamais eu d’intention de vous facturer des dommages existants. Il est simplement de notre devoir de procéder à une vérification minutieuse après chaque retour, indépendamment du prix de la location, car la responsabilité liée au véhicule reste primordiale.
